The company participated in the e-auction held on 16 April 2026, and the total estimated investment for the proposed acquisition is about Rs 1,374.45 crore, payable in stages based on construction progress and subject to terms and conditions of the auction, it said in a regulatory filing.
In a separate development, NBCC said the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), Ministry of Finance, has conveyed its ‘no objection’ to the merger of its wholly owned subsidiary HSCC (India) with the parent company.

Accordingly, the Company participated in the said e-auction held on 16 April 2026, and emerged as the Highest Bidder. The total estimated investment towards the proposed purchase would be approximately Rs 1,374.45 crore, payable in stages on construction-linked basis, in accordance with the progress of construction and subject to the terms and conditions of the e-auction.
NBCC (India) has successfully sold commercial built-up space of approx14 lac sq. ft area at Bharat Business Park, Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi through an e-auction at total sale value of approx. Rs. 5,779 crore.
NBCC will get marketing fee @ 1% of sale value.
NBCC (India) on 11 April 2026, has entered into two different Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) as follows:
1. MoU for the Redevelopment of August Kranti Bhawan, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi HUDCO and NBCC agree to collaborate and jointly work towards the redevelopment of leasehold plot admeasuring approx. 18830 sqmt. at Block No. 25, August Kranti Bhawan, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi. NBCC shall render Techno-economic feasibility study, Construction and Project Management, Monetization of built-up space etc.
2. MoU for providing funds for the ongoing and upcoming projects of NBCC's self sustainable model Reinforcing cooperation and collaboration to leverage respective strengths for undertaking Asset Monetization activities for NBCC's self-sustainable model projects. HUDCO shall provide funds for ongoing and upcoming projects of NBCC's self sustainable model on mutually agreed terms and conditions. NBCC shall provide Project Management and Marketing consultancy services. The partnership is expected to expedite projects execution, enhance assets value, and contribute to urban infrastructure development.
The said MoUs are in the normal course of business of the Company.
Both contracts have been awarded in the normal course of business and will be executed under the project management consultancy (PMC) mode. The redevelopment will be undertaken on a self-sustainable model, wherein a portion of the built-up area (BUA) will be monetized to fund the project cost, while the balance BUA will be handed over for DDA staff use.
The Old Rajinder Nagar project involves 117 dwelling units with an envisaged BUA of around 99,635 square meters. The Safdarjung Development Area project comprises 152 dwelling units with a tentative built-up area of 65,925 square meters. Final BUA approvals will be subject to a detailed survey and submission of the Detailed Project Report (DPR).
The company clarified that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the awarding authority, and the contracts do not qualify as related-party transactions.
Shares of NBCC (India) shed 0.01% to Rs 94.03 on the BSE.
