IL JIN Electronics, part of the Amber Group, operates its bare PCB business through its subsidiaries, with the cooperation specifically focussed on Ascent Circuits.
The planned cooperation will combine Schweizer’s long-standing experience in automotive and industrial PCB applications with Ascent Circuits’ manufacturing footprint and expansion plans in India.
It will create additional value for customers in European and US region by strengthening supply-chain resilience, broadening sourcing options and preparing a structured path toward future technology capabilities.
In the first phase, the partners will focus on selected standard automotive and industrial PCB applications based on existing manufacturing capabilities.
In parallel, the cooperation will prepare a step-by-step roadmap toward more complex multilayer and HDI applications as future Indian capacities become available.
The partners also intend to evaluate selected future growth areas in other industries where the cooperation can create long-term customer value.
In a separate filing made on Saturday (27 June 2026), Amber Group informed that it had the ground breaking ceremony of two advanced manufacturing facilities at YIEDA, near Noida International Airport (Jewar), Uttar Pradesh.
The first unit is Ascent-K Circuit’s facility for advanced HDI PCBs manufacturing, spanning across 16 acres, and approved under the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS) by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The facility would bring together the expertise of Ascent Circuits and Korea Circuit Co.
The second unit is Amber Group’s Ultra Mega AC manufacturing facility, spanning across 100 acres, to boost domestic production and scale, in a phased manner, for air conditioner manufacturing.
Amber Enterprises India is engaged in the business of manufacturing and trading of Consumer Durables, Electronics Manufacturing Services and Railway Subsystem & Mobility and its services.
The company reported a 26.8% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 85 crore for Q4 FY26, despite a 10.5% increase in revenue from operations to Rs 4,147.52 crore.
The scrip shed 0.85% to currently trade at Rs 7595 on the BSE.
Oppo India, a licensed manufacturer of mobile phones for the OPPO, OnePlus and Realme brands in India, will partner with Amber Group to manufacture smartphones for these brands in the country.
Under the arrangement, Amber Group will leverage its manufacturing scale, operational capabilities, local supply chain network and expertise in enhancing domestic value addition, while the brands will contribute their global product and technology expertise.
The partnership underscores Oppo India’s confidence in Amber Group’s ability to deliver quality, scale and consistency in manufacturing operations.
For Amber Group, the collaboration represents a significant milestone in its diversification strategy and strengthens its position in the electronics manufacturing ecosystem. The company said the partnership will support its long-term growth plans while expanding its role in India's mobile phone manufacturing sector.
