Adani Green Energy (Adani Green) has taken a significant step in its sustainability journey by mainstreaming the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework, which provides organisations with a structured, science-based approach to identify, assess, manage and disclose their dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities related to nature and biodiversity, into an enterprise-wide strategy. This strengthens Adani Green's ambition to transition from traditional ESG compliance to a more integrated, nature-positive model of renewable energy growth, ensuring that ecological wellbeing advances alongside clean energy expansion.
Beginning in FY24, Adani Green initiated company-wide assessments to map nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities across every operational site. This advance groundwork—undertaken even before formally joining the TNFD Adopters group—reflects Adani Green's intent to embed nature-related insights into strategic planning rather than treat them as end-of-year regulatory disclosures.
The TNFD framework is a global, science-led initiative founded by the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative, the United Nations Development Programme, the World Wildlife Fund and Global Canopy. It provides a structured framework for organisations to identify, assess, manage and disclose nature-related risks and opportunities. By aligning with the TNFD framework, Adani Green strengthens its leadership among global renewable companies integrating biodiversity considerations into strategic decision-making, supporting both global conservation priorities and India's climate leadership.
Adani Green is also a signatory to the India Business Biodiversity Initiative (IBBI and IBBI 2.0). Reaffirming its long-term biodiversity goal, Adani Green has committed to achieving No Net Loss of Biodiversity by 2030, supported by its plan to plant 27.86 million trees across project locations.

Two portfolio companies of the Adani Group have received Letters of Award (LoA) from the Assam Government for two transformative projects in Assam: a state-of-the-art thermal power plant and a pioneering pumped storage facility, which would see them collectively invest Rs ~63,000 crore in the state.
Adani Power will invest Rs ~48,000 crore to set up a 3,200 MW greenfield ultra super critical power plant in Assam. Separately, Adani Green Energy intends to invest Rs ~15,000 crore, to set up two Pumped Storage Plants (PSP) in the state with a combined capacity of 2,700 MW. AGEL has received an LoA for 500 MW of energy storage capacity, which will be catered from the above PSPs.
These landmark initiatives underscore the Adani Group's strategic focus on the advancement of India's northeastern region, aligning with Chairman Gautam Adani's pledge in February this year to invest Rs 50,000 crore in the region's development and growth.
Adani Saur Urja (KA), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Green Energy, has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Assam Power Distribution Company (APDCL) for procurement of 500 MW energy storage capacity from Pumped Hydro Storage plant.
The capacity is secured through the competitive bidding conducted by APDCL.
The Annual Fixed Cost (tariff) payable under the LOA is Rs. 1,02,92,887 per MW per Annum for the entire period of 40 years from COD.

Revenue from power supply jumped 20% to Rs 2,776 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 2,308 crore in Q2 FY25.
EBITDA from power supply climbed 19% YoY to Rs 2,543 crore in Q2 FY26 while EBITDA margin slipped to 90.5% in Q2 FY26 as against 91.7% in Q2 FY25. Cash profit rose 8% YoY to Rs 1,349 crore during the quarter.
The strong growth in revenue, EBITDA, and cash profit are primarily backed by robust greenfield capacity addition of 5.5 GW, deployment of advanced RE technologies, strong plant performance and commissioning of new capacities in resource rich sites in Khavda, Gujarat and Rajasthan.
For the first half of FY26, the company’s consolidated net profit jumped 79.5% to Rs 1296 crore on 14.5% increase in net sales to Rs 6565 crore in H1 FY26 over H1FY25.
