With this the cumulative capacity addition during Q1 FY26 stands at 1.9 GW constituting both organic and inorganic capacities. JSW Energy has total locked-in generation capacity of 29.9 GW comprising of 12.8 GW operational, 12.5 GW under-construction across thermal, wind, solar and hydro and pipeline of 4.6 GW. The company also has 29.3 GWh of locked-in energy storage capacity through hydro pumped storage projects of 26.4 GWh and battery energy storage system of 2.9 GWh. The Company aims to reach 30 GW generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity by FY 2030. JSW Energy has set an ambitious target of achieving Carbon Neutrality by 2050.

These projects will be developed on a build, own and operate model in the state of Rajasthan. The BESPA is signed for a duration of 12 years, with a tariff of Rs 2,24,000 per MW per month, and is supported by viability gap funding.
The company's total locked-in energy storage capacity stands at 29.3 GWh, including 2.9 GWh of BESS and 26.4 GWh of Pumped Hydro Storage. With this, the Company is well-positioned to achieve its target of 40 GWh of energy storage by 2030, it added.
The scrip shed 0.55% to Rs 524.20 on the BSE.

Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which JSW Energy Ltd is a constituent, has added around 0.42% in last one month and is currently quoting at 35820.55, up 0.59% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 37.98 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 32.91 lakh shares in last one month.
The benchmark June futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 510.45, up 0.32% on the day. JSW Energy Ltd is down 30.73% in last one year as compared to a 5.65% gain in NIFTY and a 12.85% gain in the Nifty Energy index.
The PE of the stock is 76.18 based on TTM earnings ending March 25.
