The benchmark July futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 1615.8, up 4.08% on the day. Adani Green Energy Ltd is up 55.53% in last one year as compared to a 4.42% drop in NIFTY and a 8.08% drop in the Nifty Energy index.

The PE of the stock is 310.14 based on TTM earnings ending March 26.

Adani Green Energy through its various stepdown subsidiaries, has commercially operationalized: 

-  an aggregate 156 MW renewable energy projects at Khavda, Gujarat; and

- an aggregate 185 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects at Khavda, Gujarat

With commissioning of this project, AGEL has achieved total operational renewable generation capacity of 20,141,80 MW and total operational BESS capacity of 3,551 MWh.

Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has surpassed 20 gigawatts (GW) of operational renewable energy capacity, becoming the first renewable energy company in India to achieve the milestone predominantly through greenfield development. The company generates over 52 billion units of clean electricity annually. The output represents nearly 3 per cent of India's electricity consumption, enough to power New York City for a year, or almost entire Mumbai and New Delhi combined.

The milestone comes within a decade of commissioning AGEL's first renewable energy project at Kamuthi, Tamil Nadu, in 2016, making it India's largest and fastest greenfield renewable energy capacity addition. The company added 5,051 megawatts (MW) in FY26, the highest annual renewable capacity addition by any company outside China.

Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five (AHEJa5L), wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary of Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has operationalized solar power project of 50 MW at Khavda, Gujarat.

With commissioning of this project, AGEL has achieved total operational renewable generation capacity of 19,835.8 MW and total operational BESS capacity of 3,366 MWh.

The benchmark June futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 1509.7, up 0.66% on the day. Adani Green Energy Ltd is up 47.82% in last one year as compared to a 3.64% drop in NIFTY and a 15.14% drop in the Nifty Energy index.

The PE of the stock is 304.69 based on TTM earnings ending March 26.

Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has commissioned a cumulative 3.37 Gigawatt-hour (GWh) Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), the world's largest single-location battery storage deployment outside China and among the fastest executed globally.

The deployment includes the 1.37 GWh capacity commissioned in March 2026, taking AGEL's total operational BESS capacity at Khavda, Gujarat to 3.37 GWh. The project was delivered within just 10 months of commencement of on-site construction, marking one of the fastest utility-scale battery storage deployments globally.

The commissioning marks a major milestone in strengthening grid reliability, peak-hour supply and enabling renewable energy to deliver dependable, round-the-clock power at scale. AGEL plans to add over 10 GWh of battery storage capacity in FY27 and scale this to 50 GWh over the next five years.

AGEL's 3.37 GWh BESS can store enough clean energy to power nearly one million homes for an entire day, supporting peak electricity demand of cities like Indore, Chandigarh or the entire state of Goa. It can also power more than 12 million LED bulbs continuously for ten hours. This would be a game changer as battery storage will help keep renewable heavy grids stable and deliver green power round-the-clock.

Adani Green Energy through its various stepdown subsidiaries, has commercially operationalized: 

• an aggregate 1,990 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects at Khavda, Gujarat; and
• a 50 MW solar energy project at Khavda, Gujarat

With commissioning of these projects, AGEL has achieved total operational renewable generation capacity of 19,785.8 MW and total operational BESS capacity of 3,366 MWh.

Based on the relevant clearances, it was decided at 9.30 p.m. on May 25, 2026 to commercially operationalize these plants from May 26, 2026.
