Revenue from operations increased 37.39% year on year to Rs 516.24 crore from Rs 375.76 crore. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, revenue rose 14.97% from Rs 449.02 crore in Q1 FY27.
EBITDA climbed 53.33% year on year to Rs 163.3 crore from Rs 106.5 crore. The EBITDA margin improved to 31.6% from 28.3% in Q2 FY26, an expansion of 329 basis points. Sequentially, EBITDA increased 32.36% from Rs 123.3 crore, while the margin expanded from 27.5% in Q1 FY27.
Profit before tax stood at Rs 52.87 crore in Q2 FY27, up 820.73% year on year from Rs 5.74 crore in Q2 FY26. Sequentially, it rose 160.57% from Rs 20.29 crore in Q1 FY27.
Total expenses increased 24% year on year to Rs 462.56 crore. Employee benefits expense rose 30.7% to Rs 77.58 crore from Rs 59.34 crore, while depreciation and amortisation expense increased 7.42% to Rs 75.01 crore from Rs 69.83 crore. Other expenses climbed 29.45% to Rs 127.94 crore from Rs 98.83 crore.
The company said revenue growth was driven by new drug development and commercialisation (DDC) capacity, strong execution of manufacturing and supply agreements, and product launches across business segments. It reported continued growth in biologics and said its second cartridge line was commercialised during the quarter.
