Total sales include domestic sales of 1,01,594 units (up 40% YoY) and exports of 6,054 units (up 71% YoY).
Total sales comprised of passenger vehicle sales of 59,257 units (up 50% YoY) and commercial vehicle sales of 42,337 units (up 28% YoY).
According to Dr Velusamy R, President, Automotive Business, Mahindra & Mahindra , “In August, we achieved SUV sales of 59257 units delivering growth of 50%, and total vehicle sales stood at 107648, a 42% YoY growth. Demand continues to remain strong across our portfolio, with the updated Scorpio-N and BE 6 SPORTEQ receiving strong market response from customers. We look forward to building on this momentum during the festive season.”
Domestic tractor sales rose 5% to 27,595 units while exports remained flat at 1912 units.
Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra said “We sold 27,595 tractors in the domestic market during August 2026, a growth of 5% over last year. Steady improvement in rainfall has helped near-normal Kharif sowing. Continued support of various government schemes and the upcoming festive season should bolster rural sentiment. In the Exports market, we have sold 1,912 tractors.”

Meanwhile, Nifty Auto index of which Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd is a constituent, has added around 7.33% in last one month and is currently quoting at 29041.3, up 1.09% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 11.54 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 25.82 lakh shares in last one month.
The benchmark August futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 3467, up 1.29% on the day. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd is up 7.27% in last one year as compared to a 0.17% fall in NIFTY and a 23.62% fall in the Nifty Auto index.
The PE of the stock is 25.91 based on TTM earnings ending June 26.
Mahindra & Mahindra clocked total sales of 1,03,860 units in month of July 2026 compared to 82,584 units in July 2025, recording a growth of 26%.
Total sales comprise of domestic sales of 99,790 units (up 25% YoY) and exports of 4,070 units (up 47% YoY).
The company recorded passenger vehicle sales of 60,048 units (up 20% YoY) and commercial vehicle sales of 39,742 units (up 33% YoY).
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index surged 66.45 points or 0.27% to 24,383.60.
The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of the market's expectation of volatility over the near term, fell 3.29% to 11.76.
